Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Planning Coordinator to support the Planning Manager by executing day-to-day tasks related to operational planning, scheduling, and client communication. The role ensures client instructions translate into actionable tasks and helps monitor operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include coordinating shipments, maintaining documentation, and providing timely updates to clients and internal teams, while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Diploma or degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Logistics or warehouse management training/certifications are advantageous.
• 3+ years in logistics, planning, or warehouse coordination, preferably in fruit cold storage.
• Familiarity with scheduling and WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log client instructions for storage, handling, and dispatch.
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments aligning with client needs and capacity.
• Maintain records and provide operational updates to stakeholders.
• Act as client contact for order status and coordinate with internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Identify scheduling and coordination improvements and provide feedback to the Planning Manager.
