Job summary

Smollan is seeking a People Specialist: Content Developer to design and deliver world-class learning content for South African units and international teams. You will partner with SMEs to map learning outcomes and create engaging content, while ensuring material remains current and compliant.

Responsibilities include designing interactive content, conducting train-the-trainer sessions, evaluating learning outcomes, and providing regular progress reports.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Partner with operational SMEs to map out learning outcomes and develop interactive learning content.
• Content Maintenance: Review current content every six months for market relevancy and update materials, ensuring copyright and accuracy.
• Assessments & Evaluation: Establish platforms for pre- and post-assessments, evaluate if learning outcomes are met, and adjust strategy.
• Innovation & Software: Research new instructional design tools and technologies to simplify delivery of training programs.
• Facilitator Support: Conduct train-the-trainer sessions and step in to facilitate internal training courses when required.
• Reporting & Field Insight: Provide weekly progress updates and monthly facilitator reports; conduct two monthly trade visits to stay aligned with ops.
