Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in process control or optimization.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process optimization, data analysis, and statistical modeling within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and R for data analysis and modeling.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, experimental design, and control theory.
• Experience with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI applied to industrial processes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets from plant operations to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop and implement advanced control strategies and optimization techniques to maximize process efficiency and product quality.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) tools to monitor process performance and ensure stability.
• Collaborate virtually with site engineers and operators to troubleshoot issues and implement process adjustments.
• Design and analyze pilot studies or trials to validate optimization strategies before full-scale implementation.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance, optimization findings, and recommendations.
