Job summary

Volvo Group Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Fleet Controller / Customer Service subject to breakdown handling. You will coordinate communications among customers, drivers, home dealers, and repair dealers to ensure smooth operations and timely follow-ups.

Your responsibilities include managing multi-language breakdown processes, securing financial arrangements, and escalating cases when needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to Volvo’s values.

Qualifications

Matric/Grade 12 is required.
1–2 years Fleet Controller or servicer advisor experience.
Commercial Vehicle experience.
Excellent English language skills.
Clerical/Administration support experience.

Responsibilities

To ensure efficient communication between all parties involved in a breakdown (customer, driver, home dealer, repairing dealer, market).
To handle the full breakdown process in the required languages and per procedures.
To secure financial arrangements related to a breakdown according to warranty and financial routines.
To elevate cases according to the escalation process.
To communicate with all parties in a correct and clear way using technical understanding.
To participate in continuous improvement activities.
To develop and maintain proactive relationships with Volvo Group employees and customers.
To participate in departmental team meetings and support strategic objectives.
