Job summary

Datacentrix is seeking an Export Coordinator to manage all export transactions, ensuring compliance and robust controls are followed. You will liaise between the business and freight forwarders, obtain quotes, and oversee documentation.

Key duties include verifying item codes against HS codes, updating management, maintaining per-country requirements, and ensuring Forex compliance. You will support the Exports Administrator and assist with risk assessments and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Certificate/diploma in Exports Management/Administration or equivalent.
• Experience with exports transactions, logistics, reporting and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all export transactions ensuring compliance and controls.
• Act as liaison between Business and Freight Forwarder; obtain shipping quotes.
• Manage communication to Business and updates from Freight Forwarders.
• Verify item codes on orders vs HS Codes; prepare information for management approval.
• Maintain control registers for foreign deals and document packs.
• Ensure Forex compliance and update per country requirements.
• Assist Exports Administrator with proformas, risk assessments and reporting.
• Back-up for Exports Administrator during leave and peak periods.
