Frank Consult is assisting a leading South African manufacturer in finding a commercially minded Business Analyst – Distributor Performance for their head office in Cape Town. The role focuses on analysing distributor performance across international markets and delivering actionable insights to drive growth.

Reporting to the CEO, you will prepare dashboards, build strong distributor relationships, and collaborate with internal teams on commercial planning while staying aware of market trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in a business/commercial/data analytics role.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics, beauty or distributor-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor distributor purchases against annual sales targets.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends and data to identify opportunities/risks.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and executive dashboards and reports.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.
• Monitor distributor pipelines, compliance and growth metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors across global markets.
• Support commercial planning and forecasting with internal teams.
• Analyze product, market and SKU performance.
• Ensure distributor data accuracy across systems.
• Present insights to senior management and CEO.
• Stay informed on market trends and industry developments.
