Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding, a division of Deutsche Post DHL, seeks a Cross Border Controller in Johannesburg to coordinate road freight cross-border operations. You will manage shipments, bookings, and documentation, ensuring timely customs clearance and effective supplier coordination.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, matric, CW1 certification, and strong MS Office skills. Join a global team delivering end-to-end logistics solutions across 220+ countries.

• CCO Certified on CW1

Responsibilities

• Regulate and coordinate road freight cross-border transport (Import, Export & Bonded Transit) efficiently.
• Register shipments and process documentation to enable timely customs clearance.
• Coordinate movement of cargo and manage all supply-chain parties (Shipper, Carrier & Agents).
• Negotiate supplier rates and maintain contracts; support system changes and directives.
• Receive transport orders, book shipments, and track PODs and RIT/RIB procedures.
• Prepare customer reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
