Job summary

Tiger Recruitment is seeking a Cross Trade and Road Freight Controller for a Freight Forwarding client in Johannesburg. You will coordinate cross-border shipments, manage road freight movements across Africa, and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements on multiple trade lanes.

The role requires several years in international freight forwarding with a focus on Africa and a strong marine/road logistics network. Based in Johannesburg, the position is site-based.

Qualifications

• Experience in international freight forwarding with focus on Africa lanes.
• Strong knowledge of customs and border procedures.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-border shipments end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, coordinate and ensure on-time cross trade and road freight into Africa.
• Coordinate shipments across SADC, COMESA and East Africa routes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for road freight and cross-trade movements.
