Job summary

Conlog, a global player known for metering solutions, is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer in Gauteng to lead the Commercial team and align sales plans with company strategy. You will drive revenue growth, manage strategic accounts, and steer market expansion across Africa, the Middle East, and beyond.

The role requires a track record in senior commercial leadership, Sales forecasting accuracy, and deep experience in electronics or utilities. Travel both locally and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software, or Telecoms plus senior commercial leadership experience.
• Experience leading at Executive Committee level with proven revenue forecasting and budgets.
• Exposure to electronics or utilities is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial strategies, marketing and business planning.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth.
• Analyse revenue forecasting, pipeline, and budgets, with insights to leadership.
• Lead initiatives to identify new sales opportunities and partnerships.
• Manage executive sponsor roles for key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
• Provide direction to the sales team, set goals, and foster high performance.
• Partner with Finance to safeguard margins, pricing discipline and revenue recognition.
