You will drive scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and compliance with local codes while mentoring teams and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in infrastructure and construction project management.
• Proven track record managing complex development projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of Western Cape building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience budgeting > R100 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and close-out of major infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project schedules and manage budgets.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with proactive solutions.
• Prepare status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure permits and approvals are obtained timely.
