Qualifications

• 4.1 Legal Appointment under the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field; postgraduate management/mining qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the 4.1 Legal Appointee and ensure compliance with mining regulations, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Develop and implement long-term strategic mine plans and oversee operations, safety, and budget.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team; manage contractors and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
