Job summary

Bright Placements (PTY) Ltd in South Africa seeks a seasoned General Manager for a luxury lodge in the Eastern Cape to lead daily operations and guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hospitality, senior management or GM experience, and a proven ability to drive profitability, revenue forecasting and service excellence.

You will build and develop a large hospitality team, maintain exceptional standards, and pursue commercial opportunities to elevate guest satisfaction.

• Minimum of 5 years' hospitality experience.
• Proven senior management experience within a lodge, hotel or similar hospitality operation.
• Previous General Manager experience is required.
• Exceptional Deputy General Managers or Operations Managers may be considered.
• Strong operational, commercial and leadership skills.
• Sound understanding of financial management and cost control.
• Experience with revenue forecasting and business performance.
• Proven experience managing and developing a large hospitality team.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and guest service standards.
