Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a senior logistics leader to head the Centurion distribution centre, driving financial performance and sustainable growth.

You will optimise the network, ensure on-time, in-full deliveries, and build high‑performing, diverse teams while advancing safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong WMS experience, change management, and a track record of cost control, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration across a large, unionised operation.

Experience

• 5-8 years in a senior leadership role within logistics or operations, preferably in retail distribution. Proven management experience of a large-scale site
• (±44,000 m²) with high-volume throughput.
• 3-5 years of hands-on operational logistics experience.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams in a unionized environment.
• Strong background in warehouse management within retail distribution.
• Track record of WMS implementation or rollout, including change management and system integration.
• Experience in complex fine picking operations focused on accuracy and speed.
• Experience in digital transformation and operational optimisation, including automation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
