Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a senior logistics leader to head the Centurion distribution centre, driving financial performance and sustainable growth.

You will optimise the network, ensure on-time, in-full deliveries, and build high‑performing, diverse teams while advancing safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong WMS experience, change management, and a track record of cost control, continuous improvement, and stakeholder collaboration across a large, unionised operation.

Qualifications

• A 3-year Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7 or higher) in one of the following fields:

Responsibilities

• Lead the Centurion DCs' financial performance by managing profit and loss, budgeting, and cost control.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through on-time, in-full, and quality deliveries.
• Optimise the logistics network by balancing availability, cost, and inventory.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement through innovation and process enhancement.
• Identify and implement business opportunities that create competitive advantage and profit growth.
• Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Develop high-performing, diverse teams by building competence and capacity.
• Achieve shrinkage and wastage targets through effective controls and accountability.
• Maintain and uphold SHEQ standards, ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.
