Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Johannesburg seeks an experienced Warehousing and Logistics Manager to oversee inbound, outbound, and inventory control across sites.

The role requires 7-10 years in a similar role, strong leadership, and SAP ERP/WMS proficiency with knowledge of GWDP and SAHPRA guidelines. You will drive KPI achievement, staff development, safety compliance, and cost control in a high-risk environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years experience in a similar role.
• Pharmaceutical Knowledge (advantageous)
• Good Knowledge on GWDP (Good Distribution and Wholesale Practices)
• OSH Act awareness
• Knowledge of SAPC and SAHPRA Guidelines
• ERP System proficiency
• WMS System proficiency
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must have a clean criminal record; integrity is essential.
• Willingness to work long hours and travel between sites

Responsibilities

• Achieve all operational KPIs.
• Ensure operational stability and productivity of inbound, outbound, and other processes.
• Manage all operational staff and their development.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety & inventory control.
• Update and maintain processes and work instructions.
• Ensure ongoing training for operational staff.
• Ensure continuous improvement targets are met.
• Control costs within budget.
• Understand customer needs, build and maintain solid customer relationships
