Job summary

FirstRand Bank India is seeking an FX production support specialist to provide real-time L1/L2 support across the FX eTrading stack. You will monitor pricing, investigate incidents, and coordinate with Level 3 teams and vendors to restore services promptly.

The role requires 3–5 years in production or application support within FX or financial technology, plus strong Linux/Unix, SQL, and incident-management skills. A hands-on, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years’ production-support or application-support experience, preferably in FX or financial tech.
• Experience with incident, change and release management in multi-team environments.
• Familiarity with front-office or time-sensitive production settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time L1/L2 support for FX eTrading platforms and users.
• Act as primary support for the FX stack and investigate pricing, trade flows and incidents.
• Own incidents from diagnosis to closure, coordinating with Level 3 and vendors.
• Monitor platform health, pricing, trade processing and market-data flows.
• Support platform releases, UAT, hypercare and disaster recovery testing.
