Job summary

The Clients are seeking an experienced Print Designer to craft fundraising appeal packages that are visually engaging and strategically effective in Johannesburg. This role focuses on print collateral from letters to newsletters, ensuring brand consistency and production readiness.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in print design, strong InDesign skills, and a portfolio showing proven fundraising and nonprofit marketing work.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design fundraising appeal packages (letters, brochures, envelopes, newsletters, postcards).
• Create layouts balancing design, readability and fundraising best practices.
• Prepare press-ready files and ensure print production specs are met.
• Collaborate with copywriters, marketing strategists, project managers and ministry teams.
• Manage multiple design projects with tight deadlines.
• Apply and maintain brand standards across all printed materials.
• Work with printers and external vendors to troubleshoot files and proofs.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining design integrity.
• Organize design assets and production files for team collaboration.
• Stay informed on design trends and print techniques to improve effectiveness.
