Placements24 is recruiting a Fundraising Director in Durban to design and execute a high-impact fundraising strategy. You will lead a team, cultivate major donors, and secure grants while maintaining governance and donor stewardship across South Africa.

• Minimum 8 years in fundraising and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
• Proven track record of securing major gifts and multi-year grants.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies.
• Strong understanding of major gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and digital fundraising.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• Knowledge of the South African philanthropic landscape, especially KwaZulu-Natal.

• Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
• Knowledge of the South African philanthropic landscape, particularly within KwaZulu-Natal , is highly desirable.
