Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Legal Counsel specializing in commercial contracts to join its fully remote legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of agreements from home, advising stakeholders on risks and terms.

The ideal candidate is admitted attorney with 5+ years in contract law, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with at least 5 years of experience focused on commercial contract law.
• Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
• Solid understanding of contract lifecycle management and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage a high workload independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and NDAs.
• Advise business stakeholders on contractual risks, obligations, and legal implications.
• Ensure contracts comply with company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewal and termination processes.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline contract processes and improve efficiency.
