Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Legal Counsel to join our globally distributed legal team. You will provide strategic legal guidance across corporate and commercial matters, draft and review complex contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance in international jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with a minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Proven expertise in international contracting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience advising multinational corporations or working in a global legal setting.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal issues remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate and commercial matters, including international contracts, M&A, and compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, partnership agreements, and service contracts across different legal systems.
• Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with global business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee and manage external counsel engagements for specialized legal matters.
• Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to global regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation and legal trends impacting the business.
