Job summary

The Recruitment Pig is seeking a proactive site operations lead to manage daily wet-stock levels, pump calibrations, and stock reconciliations while driving bulk fuel sales to commercial fleets. You will coordinate with head office support to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience running a commercial diesel, petrol, or bulk fuel depot.
• Proven ability to prospect and sell bulk fuel to fleet owners.
• Knowledge of wet-stock management, pump calibrations, and tank dip reconciliations.
• Knowledge of fuel site safety procedures and tanker offloading practices.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and clear communication.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and teamwork.
• Relevant qualifications or industry certifications in operations, safety, or logistics are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily wet-stock levels, tank dips, and accurate stock reconciliations.
• Build relationships with local transport companies and sell bulk commercial fuel.
• Supervise fuel offloading from bulk tankers safely and efficiently on site.
• Lead, support, and guide the yard operators and site administrative team.
• Maintain full compliance with daily health, safety, and environmental site rules.
• Monitor daily sales volumes and maintain healthy gross profit margins.
• Provide friendly, prompt service to retain key commercial and fleet customers.
