Job summary

Maziv is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (FTTH) in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town to plan, execute and evaluate projects to predefined timelines and standards. You will report to the Project Manager and stakeholders, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties include weekly planning and tracking, supervising teams, managing risks, budgeting support, resource allocation and documentation. Emphasis on safety, PPE and adherence to civil/technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, executing and evaluating projects against timelines and standards.
• Ability to supervise teams, communicate expectations and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, track and report weekly on project.
• Supervise project team members and contractors.
• Identify and manage project dependencies, changes and risks.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and contractors.
• Support budgeting, resource allocation and stock management.
• Ensure documentation and reports are accurate and complete.
