Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Assistant to support customers with purchasing decisions and deliver an optimal in-store experience. You will handle cash at the point of sale, assist with stock checks, and follow merchandising and store discipline procedures to achieve targets.

The role requires weekend availability and a proactive approach to customer care, product knowledge across Wellness Warehouse ranges, and contribution to CSI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant.
• Perfect written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Approach all customers, greet, smile and offer assistance.
• Identify customer needs and provide optimal experience.
• Takes responsibility for serving the customer and finding solutions to queries.
• Meet customers needs by advising on options/services/products.
• Assist with stock counts and ensure items are ticketed and merchandised.

• Ensure accurate stock counts & checking of product expiry dates
• Cash handling - assist at point of sale and with cash ups

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year Wellness Warehouse experience as a Sales Assistant
• Applicable Wellness Academy Foundation Training & Specialization Training
• All supplier training
• Fully computer literate
• Perfect written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours
• Competency Assessment Achieved
