Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or Senior Certificate.
• 0–6 months retail work experience.
• South African citizen (implied by location).
• Driver’s license and own transport (Special conditions).

Responsibilities

• Ensure full product ranges are on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock and ensure items are not past sell-by date.
• Restock merchandise to maximise sales.
• Handle customer queries and process purchases at the front of shop.
• Keep storeroom organised and ensure correct stock storage.
• Ensure pricing and labels are accurate; report discrepancies.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and training of new staff.
• Assist with loading/unloading stock when needed.
• Adhere to Dis-Chem policies, health and safety rules, and SOPs.
