Dis-Chem Malvern Park is seeking a Frontshop Assistant to uphold merchandising standards and support customer service at the point of sale in line with Dis-Chem policies. Responsibilities include stocking, shelf presentation, price accuracy, and efficient checkout processing.

The role requires Grade 12 and 0–6 months retail experience, with advantageous 1 year in retail and a certification in Retail Business Management. Be prepared for retail hours and a dynamic store environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Senior Certificate required.
• 0–6 months retail work experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full range of products is on shelves and neatly presented.
• Maintain stock and ensure items are not past sell-by date.
• Restock merchandise to maximize sales.
• Handle customer queries and follow up to resolve them promptly.
• Process payments and handle cash, cards, vouchers and other payments.
• Exchange merchandise when authorized by Frontshop Leader.
• Keep storeroom neat and organized.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and build professional relationships.
