Job summary

Shop2Shop is seeking a Fraud Analyst to support ongoing monitoring and review of transactions to detect and prevent fraudulent activity. You will investigate data, liaise with clients, and ensure timely resolution while upholding high customer service standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration across the Fraud team, accurate record keeping, and proactive communication to protect the business and its entrepreneurial customers in South Africa.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Diploma or degree in finance, legal or related field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service/finance/legal or related field is a plus.
• Experience in a call center or similar environment is a plus.
• Experience with diverse customer bases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review alerts generated by monitoring tools within Fraud team.
• Extract and analyse data sets per SOPs and processes.
• Conduct desktop investigations by reviewing client transaction history and records.
• Collaborate on duty and escalate urgent queries to reviewer or Fraud Operations Manager.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for review.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation of findings and decisions.
• Manage Business Unit mailbox and other platforms to resolve fraud-related queries.
