Job summary

SRG Recruitment in South Africa seeks an experienced franchise growth professional to attract, evaluate and onboard high-quality franchisees aligned with our expansion objectives.

You will build a robust pipeline, assess applicants for financial and operational fit, and guide candidates through approvals and agreements while collaborating with Real Estate, Legal, Finance and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in franchising, franchise development, business development or multi-site retail growth.
• Proven experience recruiting, assessing and onboarding franchisees.
• Experience within QSR, Fast Food, Retail or franchise environment is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of franchise business models, franchise agreements and commercial investment principles.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective franchisees through sourcing, referrals, marketing campaigns and franchise networks
• Identify and engage with potential franchise partners aligned with the organisation’s brand and growth strategy
• Assess and qualify applicants based on financial capacity, business experience, leadership capability and operational suitability
• Present the franchise opportunity and guide approved candidates through the application, approval and agreement process
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Development, Legal, Finance, Training and Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process
• Identify expansion opportunities with existing high-performing franchisees
• Maintain accurate reporting and governance across the franchise pipeline
