Qualifications

• Minimum MSc or PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, with emphasis on oral solid dosage forms.
• Proven experience with multiple oral solid dosage manufacturing technologies and analytical testing.
• Deep understanding of drug delivery, excipients, and cGMP requirements.
• Experience formulating diverse APIs, including challenging molecules.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and multi-project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel oral solid dosage formulations (tablets, capsules) with APIs.
• Conduct pre-formulation studies to understand API properties and effects on formulation.
• Perform formulation screening, optimization, and process development (wet/dry granulation, direct compression).
• Oversee pilot scale-up and technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
• Characterize products using analytical methods for dissolution, stability, and CQAs.
• Collaborate with analytical development, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to meet timelines.

You will lead formulation development activities, conduct pre-formulation studies, and oversee scale-up and technology transfer processes. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel oral solid dosage formulations (tablets, capsules) incorporating various Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
• Conduct pre-formulation studies to understand API properties and their impact on formulation performance.
• Perform formulation screening, optimization, and process development using techniques such as wet granulation, dry granulation, and direct compression.
• Oversee pilot scale-up activities and technology transfer to manufacturing sites, ensuring successful process implementation.
• Characterize formulated products using analytical techniques to assess dissolution, stability, and other critical quality attributes.
• Collaborate with analytical development, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs teams to ensure timely product development and dossier submission.
