Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Formulation Scientist to drive the development of pharmaceutical dosage forms in Richards Bay. The role focuses on translating drug candidates into safe, effective products, and requires expertise in solid dosage form development, pre-formulation, and scale-up.

You will work in a state-of-the-art laboratory, collaborate across teams, ensure GMP compliance, and contribute to regulatory documentation and technology transfer to commercial production.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Experience with various dosage forms, especially solid dosage forms.
• Knowledge of excipient selection, drug-excipient compatibility, and characterization techniques.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

About the Role
