Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the workshop.
• Allocate work to technicians and monitor productivity and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop staff.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults on forklifts.
• Perform quality inspections on completed repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure servicing and repairs are carried out to specifications.
• Monitor work in progress and ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Ensure accurate completion of job cards and inspection reports.
• Liaise with the Parts Department for component availability.
• Maintain high workshop housekeeping standards.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Coach, mentor and develop technicians.
• Assist with customer queries related to technical matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in workshop performance.

• Coach, mentor and develop technicians to improve technical skills and performance.
