Placements24 is recruiting a Specialized Cleaning Technician for a food processing facility in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role focuses on deep cleaning, sanitation of machinery and production areas, and strict adherence to HACCP and GMP standards to ensure product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in deep cleaning and sanitization of food processing areas.
• Knowledge of HACCP and GMP applicable to food environments.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Perform specialized cleaning and sanitization of equipment and lines per protocols.
• Maintain hygiene in floors, walls, ceilings, and ventilation areas.
• Operate high-pressure washers, steam cleaners, and chemical sprayers.
• Prepare and apply cleaning solutions per SDS and procedures.
• Check cleaning effectiveness and report deviations to supervisors.
• Adhere to food safety standards, GMP, and company hygiene policies.
• Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals and waste safely.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear proper PPE.
• Record cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Attend ongoing training to stay updated on regulations.
