Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Sanitation Technician to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in Stellenbosch production facilities. You will perform specialized cleaning tasks, operate sanitation equipment, and help maintain sterile environments to prevent contamination.

The role requires knowledge of GMP, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and the ability to follow detailed procedures. You will contribute to product safety and quality while supporting the quality assurance team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a sanitation technician or in a similar cleaning role within a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and their applications.
• Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant industry standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow precise instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene levels.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute thorough cleaning and sanitization procedures for all production and processing equipment.
• Operate and maintain specialized sanitation machinery and tools.
