Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation within a food manufacturing or processing plant is essential.
• Strong knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and sanitizers and their safe application.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of all food processing equipment, including tanks, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machinery.
• Clean and sanitize production floors, walls, and ceilings to prevent microbial growth and cross-contamination.
• Clean and disinfect high-risk areas and equipment according to strict food safety protocols.
• Manage the use and storage of cleaning chemicals and sanitizers, ensuring proper dilution and application.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as high-pressure washers and foam applicators.
• Conduct pre-operational and post-operational cleaning checks to ensure readiness for production.
• Monitor and report any sanitation issues, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere strictly to GMP and HACCP principles.
• Dispose of waste and by-products responsibly and in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of all cleaning and sanitization activities performed.
