The primary focus will be on the evening dining experience and guest hosting. We are looking for someone who understands food, kitchen operations and service, and who can act as the link between the kitchen and the guest. The Food Journey Consultant, ensuring that the guest experience around dinner is engaging, informative and enjoyable. They should be comfortable interacting with guests, explaining the food journey, gathering meaningful feedback and ensuring that information from the guests is communicated back to the kitchen and management.
The ideal candidate would therefore be someone who has credible kitchen/food knowledge but also enjoys being front-facing and engaging with guests. We are looking for a person who understands that food is not simply about what is placed on the plate, but forms an important part of the overall safari experience. A strong host personality, attention to detail, communication skills and genuine passion for food are as important as technical kitchen knowledge.
