Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking a Food & Dining Experience Host at our luxury safari lodge. This role blends hospitality, food knowledge and guest interaction to create a memorable dining journey.

You will act as the Lodge’s Food Journey Consultant, bridging kitchen, F&B, management and guests. The ideal candidate possesses credible kitchen knowledge, superb hosting and communication skills, and a genuine passion for food and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, lodge, restaurant or luxury guest service.
• Credible food and kitchen knowledge.
• Strong hosting and guest engagement skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Host and oversee the evening dining experience.
• Create a connection between the kitchen, food, and guests.
• Share the story and journey behind the dishes being served.
• Gather guest feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with the Lodge Chef Consultant and F&B Manager.
• Assist with menu implementation and menu rollouts.
• Ensure kitchen teams consistently follow approved menu standards.
• Oversee kitchen OHS, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Support kitchen operations when required.
• Act as a communication link between guests, kitchen, management, and F&B teams.
• Enhance the overall guest dining and safari experience.
