Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Soweto facility, ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate order fulfillment, and effective staff supervision in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

You will lead a team of warehouse staff, conduct cycle counts, maintain safety and quality standards, and continuously optimize layout and processes to reduce costs while improving throughput.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and logistics.
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate staff.
• Familiar with safety protocols and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping.
• Conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate inventory management.
• Lead, train and develop warehouse staff; manage performance.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Optimize layout/workflow to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
