Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Stellenbosch to lead daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, and oversee a team of staff. The role requires strong leadership, WMS proficiency, and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will optimize processes from receiving to dispatch, coordinate with logistics, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy in the Western Cape region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and related software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities: receiving, stocking, picking, packing and dispatching.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes.
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Operate and manage warehouse equipment efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate with transport and logistics to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
