Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations in Bloemfontein. The role focuses on supervising staff, managing inventory accuracy, and maintaining high safety standards within the facility.

You will lead a team of warehouse associates, optimize workflows, and ensure efficient distribution operations in the Free State region, driving productivity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or a similar role in a warehouse environment.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• Experience leading and supervising a team of warehouse workers.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to warehouses.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory through effective inventory control procedures and regular cycle counts.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Operate and manage warehouse equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
• Assist in the planning and execution of efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
