Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Area Sales Representative to cover the Benoni, Gauteng territory. You will promote and sell a range of consumer goods, expand distribution, and manage relationships with retailers and wholesalers. A strong FMCG background and proven ability to achieve targets are essential.

You will develop sales strategies, ensure product visibility, and provide market feedback while working with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required; a tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in FMCG or related sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet/exceed targets in Benoni.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and customers.
• Ensure product visibility, stock levels, and in-store promotions.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow market share.
• Prepare sales reports and provide market feedback.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on cohesive strategies.
