Job summary

Staff Solutions seeks an experienced Sales Manager in the FMCG sector to lead and motivate the sales team, develop new markets, and grow the customer base. You will drive revenue, manage pricing and delivery performance, and partner with internal teams to optimise quotations and customer satisfaction.

The role requires five years of sales experience in FMCG, a BCom or equivalent degree, and strong leadership and analytical abilities. On-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or a relevant BCom degree.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
• Develop new markets and grow the customer base to increase sales volumes and revenue.
• Achieve sales targets, budgeted tonnage and revenue per ton (RPT) objectives.
• Maintain regular customer call cycles and ensure consistent engagement with the customer base.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare accurate sales reports and business review analyses.
