Qualifikationen

• At least five years' FMCG sales experience.
• Proven experience in sales team management and achieving targets.
• Matric and a tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or a related BCom degree.

Aufgaben

• Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve targets.
• Service existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Develop new markets and grow the customer base to increase sales volumes and revenue.
• Achieve sales targets, budgeted tonnage and revenue per ton objectives.
• Maintain regular customer call cycles and engage the customer base.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare sales reports and analyses.
• Ensure customer satisfaction in pricing, service delivery and product quality.
• Coordinate with Internal Sales for timely quotations.
• Ensure quotations meet customer specs and profitability targets.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise excess stock.
• Achieve OTIF delivery targets.
• Implement price increases and communicate changes.
• Build strong customer relationships through engagement and reviews.
• Manage customer expectations and be accessible outside hours when needed.
• Travel outside metropolitan areas as required by business needs.
• Mentor and develop subordinates; ensure job responsibilities are understood.
