Staff Unlimited Recruitment in Bloemfontein, Free State, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead a regional FMCG sales team. You will drive growth, nurture key accounts, and identify new business opportunities to meet revenue and profitability targets.

The role requires a proven track record in FMCG sales, a relevant degree, and ability to coach staff; travel as needed and willingness to work outside normal hours.

Formación

• Must have Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or a relevant BCom degree.
• Computer literacy is required.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business.
• Experience managing, coaching and mentoring a team.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the sales team and drive achievement of sales volume and revenue targets.
• Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new markets and business opportunities.
• Achieve sales budgets, tonnage targets and revenue-per-ton objectives.
• Monitor customer satisfaction in terms of pricing, service and product quality.
• Prepare sales reports and conduct business performance reviews.
• Maintain regular customer call cycles and ensure effective account management.
• Coordinate with internal sales to ensure accurate and timely quotations that meet customer specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and support on-time, in-full delivery targets.
• Implement price increases in line with business requirements.
• Manage staff performance, including coaching, mentoring and performance management.
• Travel as required, including outside normal working hours, and remain accessible to customers when necessary.
