Wine.Co.Za in Stellenbosch is seeking an Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across Paarl, the Western Cape and surrounding areas. You will lead a field-based team, drive performance, and strengthen relationships with retailers and distributors to grow market share and brand presence.

The role requires 4–6 years in FMCG sales with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity, deep knowledge of Western Cape channels, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of sales experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory role within FMCG.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of Western Cape retail and distribution channels.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve targets.
• Develop regional sales strategies and execute plans for FMCG products.
• Build relationships with key accounts including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
• Monitor performance, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
• Manage territory budgets and provide accurate sales forecasts.
• Report regularly to management on performance and market conditions.
• Recruit new sales reps as needed and ensure high customer service standards.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments.
