Job summary

Placements24 seeks a highly qualified Quality Assurance Manager for an on-site role in Paarl, Western Cape. You will establish and maintain robust QMS across production, lead the QA team, conduct audits, and drive CAPA to uphold product integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role demands 7+ years in QA/QC within FMCG, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000. On-site facilities and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required or equivalent.
• 7+ years in QA/QC in FMCG sector desired.
• Experience with QMS, audits, and CAPA implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) per ISO/HACCP standards.
• Oversee QA/QC activities across materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Lead QA team, provide training and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate internal audits and external audits by regulators/customers.
• Investigate complaints and non-conformances; implement CAPA.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Develop QA training programs for relevant staff.
• Monitor quality metrics and report to senior management.
• Collaborate with R&D, production and supply chain to embed quality.
• Stay updated on evolving quality standards and best practices.
