Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to manage relationships with major retail partners in the FMCG sector across Limpopo, based in Polokwane. The role focuses on driving sales growth, ensuring product availability, and executing in-store strategies with key accounts.

You will negotiate terms, develop joint business plans, and collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance to optimize performance and brand presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in key account management or sales in FMCG.
• Proven track record with major retail accounts in South Africa and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key retail accounts in the FMCG sector across Limpopo.
• Develop and implement tailored account plans to achieve sales targets, distribution goals, and market share objectives for assigned retailers.
• Negotiate trading terms, promotions, and shelf space with key retail partners to maximize brand visibility and sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and promotional activities.
• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges within key accounts.
• Provide regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to management.
