Placements24 is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with major FMCG retail partners in Klerksdorp and the North West. The role blends in-office strategy with client-facing visits and potential remote work flexibility, focusing on increasing sales, market share, and profitability.

You will negotiate terms, promotions, and listings, analyze market data, and collaborate with marketing, supply chain and finance to deliver effective account plans and performance

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG Key Account management.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic relationships with a portfolio of key FMCG accounts in Klerksdorp and the North West region.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase sales volume, market share, and profitability for assigned accounts.
• Negotiate trading terms, promotional plans, and product listings with retail partners.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of account plans and promotions.
• Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure optimal product visibility and shelf space allocation within retail outlets.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
