Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Field Sales Executive to cover the Randburg, Gauteng region. You will develop new business and maintain relationships with retailers and businesses, promoting a range of FMCG products and delivering strong sales results in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• A Grade 12 certificate; tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is an advantage.
• 3–5 years proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar, ideally FMCG.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets; excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets within the territory.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities by generating leads and a robust pipeline.
• Present and sell FMCG products to potential and existing clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in retail and wholesale.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits.
• Negotiate contract terms and close sales effectively.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage sales expenses and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
• Continuously expand product knowledge and sales techniques.
