Candidates should have 3-5 years FMCG sales experience, matric, driver’s licence, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Fluent in English and local South African languages.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• 3–5 years’ FMCG sales experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate.
• Very neat and tidy work ethic.
• Pro-active and detail-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Find sales leads and increase new business.
• Gather market information on pricing and trends.
• Attend to customer queries and complaints.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Stock rotation, forward share, expiry dates, storage conditions.
• Manage customer credits and returns, drive to reduce credits.
• Assist telesales with customer orders.
• Manage merchandisers at store level.
• Improve product delivery turnaround through relationships.
• Provide regular reports (formal and informal).
