Candidates should have 3-5 years FMCG sales experience, matric, driver’s licence, and strong communication skills.

Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Location: West Rand

Duties

• Find sales leads and increase new business
• Gather market information regarding pricing and trends in the market
• Attend to customer queries and complaints
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Product care on shelf – Stock rotation, forward share, expiry date, storage conditions, etc.
• Manage customer credits and returns, drive strategy to reduce credits.
• Assist telesales in getting customer orders in time.
• Manage merchandizers at store level.
• Through relationships, increase turnaround time for product delivery to customer.
• Constant report back through formal and informal reports.

Requirements

• Matric
• Fluent in English and local South African languages
• Valid driver’s licence
• Must have 3-5 years’ experience with general sales functions within the FMCG sector
• Must be able to work independently.
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to learn and drive processes and improve efficiencies.
• Good human relations and excellent communication skills.
