Job summary

Green Marble Recruitment Consultants seeks a technically minded customer support specialist with telematics experience in the Cape Town area. You will handle technical queries, troubleshoot system issues, and assist clients with fleet management platforms.

The role requires bilingual Afrikaans/English proficiency, strong math ability, and solid software skills. You will log tickets, liaise with installers, and build lasting customer relationships while delivering clear communications.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with post-matric qualification
• 23 years experience in the tracking or fleet management industry.
• Strong mathematical ability.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong computer literacy and software skills.
• Experience with telematics, GPS tracking or fleet management systems advantageous.
• Technical troubleshooting experience advantageous.
• Experience handling customer queries and support requests.
• Good understanding of vehicle tracking, fleet systems and vehicle data.
• Ability to work with reports, system information and customer requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal and customer support on telematics and fleet management systems.
• Assist customers with technical queries, system issues and platform functionality.
• Troubleshoot tracking devices, vehicle data and system-related issues.
• Assist clients with using telematics software and fleet management platforms.
• Log, manage and follow up on customer support tickets.
• Monitor outstanding queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Liaise with technical teams and installers to escape and resolve complex issues.
• Assist with reports, system configurations and customer requests.
• Analyse vehicle and tracking information to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer queries, support activities and resolutions.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Provide clear and professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
